Imperial Beach

Imperial Beach’ Tijuana Estuary’ is world-renowned and is the largest coastal wetland in Southern California. There are over four miles of walking trails that will take you to prime bird-watching areas throughout the reserve. The estuary is an important feeding, breeding, nesting ground, and key stopover point for over 370 species of migratory and native birds. Of the 370 species, 6 are included on the endangered species list.
